Smooth eroded seepy sandstone bank base on stoney rivershore, growing with Glyceria elata, Adiantum aleuticum, Cotoneaster rehderi, Rubus spectabilis. Small clump, mostly past flowering; inflorescence with brown crisped hairs, petals linear, pink; probable garden escape, pehaps from above the cliff.
