Cespitose, Leaf hood red and white, irregularly erose, pubescent, wavy, full sun, see an estimated 10 established plants, spread slightly from an old introduction, a few seedlings, on peat and Sphagnum, with Kalmia, Ledum, Vaccinium, oxycoccus, Rhynchospora alba, Carex cusickii, Juncus effusus subsp. effusus. Phenology: Vegetative.
