Creek bank above high water line.¶Associated taxa: Salix lasiandra, Alnus rhombifolia. Tree to 10 meters tall; twigs very brittle; upper surface of leaves dark green and highly glossy, lower surface not glaucous. Plants female. Planted for riparian shading project. Phenology: Flowers.
