Shrubs 1.5 meters tall, buds glaucous, auxillary hairs rusty, 7-13 green slightly shiny leaflets; fruit orange-red, shiny, not glaucous, 10-11 x 9.0-9.5 millimeters, with parents, Carex spectabilis, Veratrum, Abies lasiocarpa. Phenology: Fruits.
