Roadside thickets, full sun, with Rubus armeniacus, R. laciniatus, R. ursinus, R. macrophyllus. Uncommon adventive evergreen shrub 1.7 meters tall. Infloresecense glandular; fruit black, shinny, truncate base, 17 x 18 millimeters wide. [Sheet 2 of 2]. Phenology: Vegetative.
