Clearing by gravel pit. Growing along gravel pit and along the small, moist seepage. Slope: 0%. Abundance: 3. Rocky soil. Height: 2-4' canes. D.B.H. 1/4". R. idaeus ssp. sachilinensis var. peramoenus and R. idaeus ssp. idaeus were growing next to each other on edges of gravel pit forming vigorous and dense mats. Phenology: Flowers.
