Weedy abandoned pasture/orchard.¶Associated taxa: Crataegus monogyna, Fraxinus latifolia, Malus ×domestica, Rubus armeniacus, Agrostis stolonifera. Tree, circa 15 meters tall; fruits ovoid to nearly spheric 2.0-2.5 centimeters by 1.5-2.0 centimeters, golden brown, carpels 3-4; sepals persistent. Likely used as orchard tree rootstock; persisting but apparently not reproducing. Phenology: Fruits.
