Partly shaded thickets near shore of Lake Washington with Populus balsamifera, Rubus armeniacus, Equisetum arvense, Carex obnupta. Adventive trees and shrubs 2-6 meters tall, some resprouting from beaver damage; corymbs of flowers fading, light pink, 40 millimeters diameter; petals 16 millimeters long and notched; yellow anthers; sepals spreading. Phenology: Flowers.
