Gravel road fill slope in full sun. No nearby ornamental plantings observed. With Pseudotsuga menziesii, Quercus garryana, Toxicodendron diversilobum, Lonicera hispidula. Shrub 2.5 m tall; flowers white; leaves reddish, turning green as they mature. No nearby ornamental plantings observed.
