Brushy fields, with Crataegus monogyna, Populus balsamifera, Rubus armeniacus. 3 meter tree, petals 15-18 mm long, white, fading, narrow elliptic and not overlapping, yellow anthers; sepals spreading; 5 red styles; pedicels 15 mm, upper pedicel and hypanthium red; some slightly lobed leaves; rare adventive in brushy fields. Same tree as coll. 18106. Phenology: Flowers.

Brushy fields, with Crataegus monogyna, Populus balsamifera, Rubus armeniacus. 3 meter tree, fruit quadrangular-ovate to depressed-globose, W >= L, a few W <= L, bright orange-red to apple-red, flesh yellow-orange, fruit 8-10 x 9-11 mm wide; calyx deciduous; leaves yellowish hairy beneath, some lobed on vigorous shoots; rare adventive in brushy fields. Same tree as coll. 16897. Phenology: Fruits.
