Prunus emarginata, Cytisus scoparius, Malus fusca, Amelanchier alnifolia. Heavily in fruite, pomes black. Long, slender, slightly recurved thorns. Some thorns double. Leaves defoliating, large and broad, turning bronze and falling. At this stage, fruiting pedicels mostly glabrous. Stamens = 10; pyrenes = 4. 4 pyrenes make fruit "cubic." Phenology: Fruits.
