Adventive shrub 3 meters tall; erect, in partial shade; evergreen leaves flat to slightly rugose, dark green, slightly shiny, 31-68 x 16-30 millimeters wide; 1-8 flowers/inflorescence; approximately 15 stamens; ripe fruit bright shiny red, globose to braodly obovate, 5.7-9.5 x 5.6-7.6 millimeters wide, sepals erect; 2 seeds/fruit, seeds 3.7-4.8 x 2.7-3.1 millimeters wide.
