Mossy salal and huckleberry at margin of hydro-electric right-of-way at forest edge; growing with Prunus emarginata, Pteridium aquilinum. Single 4 m tall shrub with multi-stemmed base; new growth rusty tinged, petals dropped, new fruit starting to form.
