Oregon: Jackson County: Ashland, lower Lithia watershed. Elev. 1900 ft.
habitat: dry hillside; sandy soil several in number. "This plant is endemic to California. The northernmost known location is extreme southern Mendocino county, in the hills above the coast. It was probably introduced as part of a landscaping project." Phenology: flowers & fruits.
