Ceanothus cuneatus (Hook.) T. & G. × Ceanothus pumilus Greene
Oregon: Josephine County: Siskiyou Mountains, Peavine Mountain road, 4.0 miles above its junction with Galice Creek road west of Galice on the Rogue River.
Steep cut-over hillsides, in reddish soil (non-serpentine as per vegetaion), with C. pumilus abundant here, but no C. cuneatus evident. This one plant undoubtedly a hybrid, its branches stiff, low, spreading to prostrate but not hugging the ground. Phenology: Flowers.
