Small, cool, flowing stream with rocky bed, in shade of open Abies procera and Tsuga heterophylla forest, with Vaccinium ovalifolium, Rubus spectabilis, Blechnum spicant, Viola glabella, Athyrium filix-femina. Basal leaves with 3 main divisions, these each 3x pinnate, leaflets deeply toothed and lobed; stems to 1.3 meters tall, with large basal leaves and reduced stem leaves; follicles mostly 4-5 per flower; plants forming dense patch along ca 6 meter length of creek bank just below trail bridge, with more plants scattered downsteam.
