Chalky limestone talus, very loose below summit. Plants sparse in loose talus, more common in protected outcrops. Dominant Assoc.: Saxifraga oppositifolia, Collomia debilis, Eriogonum crosbyae, Polemonium viscosum. Yellow flowers with orange traces, common. Leaf tissue in silica gel at ID. Phenology: Flowers.
