Occasional near edge of Pseodotsuga menziesii stand on north-facing 25% slope. On calcareous loam. Associate with Leucopoa kingii, Musineon vaginatum. Note: This is a widespread, typically lax form in woods and canyons of the study area. Plants of Montana Phenology: Vegetative.
