Gilia, Nudicaulis. ¶Common Name-- May Flower. ¶This little phlox in the early summer season often carpets the ground beneath the sagebrush with its vari-colored flowers. However, it is a fugitive and will doubtless become extinct because of over-grazing. Phenology: Flowers.
