Plants growing on a sparsely vegetated, slatey, gravel shore of lake. Aspect: 10 degrees. Slope: 3%. Associated species: Chamerion angustifolium, Chamerion latifolium, Equisetum sylvaticum, Calamagrostis canadensis, Carex canescens, Alnus viridis ssp. sinuata. Bulbiferous, caespitose, glaucus, callus webbed, glumes keeled, spikelet 4-5m, sheath open 1/3, not scabrous.
