Weedy disturbed depression where waste plant material is dumped; with Elymus repens, Epilobium brachycarpum, Lactuca serriola, Plantago lanceolata, Salix. Large grass with woody stems to 5 m tall. Think rhizomes 5+ cm in diameter. Forming a 5 m diameter patch and spreading with small satellite patches. Probably originated from dumped plant material.
