Rock (light gray limestone) outcropping and low hilltop; SSE exposure.; Shallow soils. With Pinus contorta, Eriogonum sp., Picea engelmannii, Populus tremuloides, Juniperus communis; Carex hoodii. Lvs. glabrous; corolla 14-19 mm long, staminode white/yellow w/long hairs; anthers sacks opening entire length, 1 mm. Phenology: Flowers.
