Annotated by R. Meinke, 19 Jan 1988. Remarks: "This is definitely not Mimulus washingtonensis, based on petiole length, scrambling habit, a lack of style pubescence, lanceolate stigmas, and membraneous fruiting calyces. In these respects, the plants correspond to Mimulus hymenophyllus Meinke (Madrono 30:147-152. 1983), but the corollas are much shorter than in all known populations of that species. It is possible that the range of variation in Mimulus hymenophyllus is not well understood." R. Meinke 1-19-88
