In moist, roadcut seepage above road within an open Pinus ponderosa/Agropyron spicatum habitat type. SW aspect, almost vertical, skeletal clay/loam soils. In rocky seepages with Sedum lanceolatum, Alyssum alyssoides, Penstemon venustus, Bromus tectorum, Phacelia hastata, and Collomia linearis. Locally common. Annual with yellow bilabiate flowers and small reddish dots on lower lip, 0.2-1 dm tall. Phenology: Flowers.
