Island is low, ca. [circa] 30 feet high, relatively flat, with extensive bedrock outcrops throughout. Sedum lanceolatum is abundant across the bedrock. A large swale in mid-island is dense Rosa nutkana thicket. A couple of small vernal pools in the bedrock near the south side are noteworthy. All plants found in one dry vernal pool; locally common; flowers yellow. Reference specimen for illustration in Revision of Flora of the Pacific Northwest, WTU Herbarium, 2016. Phenology: Flowers.
