Preload fill, in clay soil with gravelly top, growing with Epilobium ciliatum and Epilobium parviflorum. Plants with dense short wavy white hairs, some straight, variable; fertile hybrid between E. parviflorum (50+ plants at site and E. ciliatum subsp. ciliatum (50+ plants at site); flowering before the other two species, petals light pink; more than 50 plants at site; extirpated with a parking lot in August; identity not certain.

Preload fill, in clay soil with gravelly top, growing with Epilobium ciliatum and Epilobium parviflorum. Seeds papillose in lines, appearing to be viable; unsure whether this hybrid is supposed to be sterile; this sample seems fertile, so perhaps it is what I have been calling Epilobium holosericeum; same population as Lomer 9275.

Weedy margin of pathway, with Poa annua, Senecio vulgaris, Melilotus alba. Infrequent; perennial; plants appressed hairy; flowers pale pink; seeds crested in lines; established as a landscaping weed for many years.

In paving stone cracks with weeds and garden escapes (Lobelia erinus and Antirrhinum majus) Single plant. Per. herb with spreading hairs and stigma which appears 4-grooved (prob. 4 lobed and closed). Introduced from Europe.
