In moist cracks between north-facing boulders, with Lunularia cruciata. Frequent throughout BBG on moist soils, path edges, etc. Prefers lightly shady locations but has a wide tolerance. Spreads mainly by seed, but also through fragmentation. Phenology: Fruits.
