Moist, mulched soil beneath edge of mature Thuja plicata, with Hypochaeris radicata, Rubus ursinus, Geranium robertianum, Trientalis latifolia. Petals white to very pale pink, fading to deeper pink, ca 7 mm; stigma 4-lobed, lobes erect; leaves elliptic-lanceolate, with petioles ca 5-10 mm; stems terete, smooth, uniformly crisp-puberulent nearly to base, with leafy, stoloniferous side-shoots from base; several plants, weedy. Open forest understory near forest edge, with Hedera hibernica, Rubus ursinus, Gaultheria shallon, Pteridium aquilinum, Trientalis latifolia. Petals white when young, fading to light pink, notched; stigma 4-lobed, lobes ascending to erect; leaves elliptic-lanceolate, dull green, bases cuneate, with petioles 4-10 mm; stems grayish and evenly puberulent with ascending to incurled hairs; plant bases with leafy-stoloniferous shoots; weed scattered in open areas of forest understory, also found along north margin of park.
