Oregon: Josephine County: flower garden east Bolan Peak, Siskiyou Forest. Elev. 6200 ft.
Gentle SE slope; Loose sandy granite loam, medium moisture; 6-Wd, 4/10 density; Moderately grazed; Assoc: 1140, 1141, 1139; Dense grand fir and white fir shade. Fireweed; Common in this locality and occasional on brush areas. Frequent in old burns, a common plant on the Forest; Grazed limitedly by cattle and sheep; In bloom on date collected. Phenology: flowering.
