Liliaceae; this is a series of capsules from the plants that bloomed in mid-May of 2007; capsules are strongly winged and some resemble small F. recurva capsules; some seeds may be found in the capsules until fall; predation by deer and rabbits is common.

near summit of knoll, on ultramafic residuals, about 20 plants noted on site, see label photographs only, due to rarity of plants. Flowers 11mm long x 16mm wide, slightly more than 1/2 the size of F. recurva flowers. colors range from red orange to red.
