plants confined to utramafic substrate, in assoc. with Ceanothus cuneatus. Large UMF zone east of site is now a timber plantation. Calochortus is presently extirpated from site. Calochortus needs open sites for survival and dense timber plantations negate this. Phenology: flowering.
