Oregon: Jackson County: Bald Mtn. Take Wagner Creek Rd. to BLM 39-1-18 - an old logging road takes you to the east then hike to the summit. See map Elev. 5600 ft.

Plants growing in rocky talus soils of the Applegate Formation and only on the summit areas. Plants not common and chipmunks usually destroy the capsules.
