moist habitat, often streamside in volcanic soils; Baldy Creek riparian area suffered extensive grazing damage before cattle were removed ca. 8 years ago. not common. plants to 1m tall; flowers with white upper lip, lavender lower lip with spots. Blooming June-September; Phenology: flowering.
