Clearing in wooded park, semi-shaded, in rich composted soil. Single large plant with abundant fruit, flowers dropped or not developed on late inflorescence tips; fruiting calyx villous basally, to 14 mm long; seeds 3 mm, light gray-brown with widely spaced net veins; leaves green, rather smooth, adaxially with minute septate rather appressed hairs, pilose hairs on veins, abaxial surface smoother, gland dotted, with septate-villous flattened hairs on veins; plant probably originating from garden waste.
