Cracks in bedrock near shoreline, some seepage at times, under Betula occidentalis, with Bromus japonicus, Lactuca serriola, Verbascum thapsus, Achillea millefolium. Leaves cuneate at base, mostly >3 times as long as wide, decreasing in size after every flower cluster until < flowers; calyx lobes 1 mm; leaves and calyx sprinkled with depressed globular glands; pleasant peppermint odour; 10 plants in 2 x 2 m.
