End of driveway of residential home, in thicket with Rubus parviflorus, Cirsium arvense. Several plants in a patch, to 2+ m tall; plants hairy throughout; corollas hairy; seeds apically hairy.

Tall uncut grassy roadside along ditch next to pasture field, with Schedonorus arundinaceus, Taraxacum officinale, Cirsium arvense, Ulmus pumila seedlings. Perennial with soft fuzzy stems and leaves, not yet forming visible flower buds; clump of ca. 12 stems and little clump of 2 stems; synonym = Leonurus cardiaca L. subsp. villosus (Desf. ex d'Urv.) Hyl.
