On gentle south slopes in small openings in second growth forest, mesic partly shaded soil, with Pseudotsuga, Sorbus aucuparia, Anthoxanthum, Dactylis, Lapsana. Cespitose to loosely cespitose, rhizomes up to 3.5 centimeters long; well-established adventive. SHEET 2 OF 2. Phenology: Fruits.
