Sandy margins above fresh water marsh, with Ammophila, Pinus contorta, Ulex, Cytisus. Rhizomatous, dark brown shiny sheaths; tepals 5.5-6.6 millimeters, anthers 2.4-2.5 mm, filaments 0.6-0.8 mm, seed 0.8-0.9 x 0.5-0.5 mm wide. Phenology: Flowers & Fruits.
