Wet prairie remnant. Cespitose; pale stems and leaves; some branching; flowers dark red-purple, yellow eye, tepals dark on outside surface; occasional in sunny damp ground; with Lomatium bradshawii, Danthonia californica, Deschampsia caespitosa, Anthoxanthum odoratum, Camassia quamash, Sisyrinchium bellum, S. hitchcockii, S. idahoense. Pressed flowers included in fragment folder. Phenology: Flowers.
