Smooth eroded sandstone bank base on boulder and stone rivershore. Growing with Rubus spectabilis, Populus trichocarpa saplings. Woody shrub with large single yellow flowers at the ends of branches; a few plants; Hypericum androsaemum and Astillbe chinensis also grew at this site; apparently arising from garden plants, perhaps above the cliff.
