Full sun, with Myriophyllum spicatum. Fruit scarcely longer than wide, as in M. heterophyllum, fruit cross-section elliptical, is in M. hippuroides, anthers 1.1-2 millimeters, as in M. heterophyllum, common stranded aquatic in drawdown zone, and submerged to emergent aquatic in shallow water. Phenology: Fruits.
