Sandy ridge above steep north-facing basalt talus. Associated species: CHNA-SADO-MOOD/AGSP-BRTE. Common on sandy (volcanic-ash) soils; flowers pale lavender, fading to blue; keel maculate, mostly past flower. Phenology: Flowers & Fruits. Isotype: Oxytropis campestris (L.) DC. var. wanapum E.
