In Dryas integrifolia heath tundra with Hedysarum boreale and Senecio ogortorukensis slope, W-facing, some limestone in the thin soil, 15° slope, just nearing ridge. This plant was fairly common on this site but become less common quickly as you follow the ridge to the summit. The flowers are blue, over 1 inch long, flowers creeping. Few flowered usually 4. Inflorescence congested. Likely an undescribed species originally collected by G.W. Douglas #8405, 8391 also from Kluane National Park - photographed. W.J. Cody writes "Oxytropis ? I suggest that you send this one to Welsh.". Previously identified as Oxytropis splendens. 1 duplicate (DAO; BRY).
