Alkaline meadow, with Hordeum jubatum, Sisyrinchium sp., Sporobolus compositus, Sonchus arvensis var. glabrescens, Aster ericoides subsp. pansus. Rather frequent (100+ seen); perennial with mostly single yellow flowers with a reddish tinge; introduced from Eurasia; closely related to Lotus corniculatus.
