Slope 40%, aspect SW, soils granitic. In subalpine forest of Pinus contorta and P. albicaulis. Associated with Hypopitys montropa, Carex geyeri, and Pterospora andromedea. Common, plants to 1 dm tall, flowers whitish. Phenology: Flowers.
