Oregon: Douglas County: Panther Leap, five miles east of Steamboat Ranger Station on the North Umpqua River Elev. 1316 ft.
The ferns are shaded by an andesitic rock outcrop. The plants have a southerly exposure. Hybrid n= 4II + 4III. Phenology: fertile.
