Floating Sphagnum bog mats rimming lake, with Pinus contorta, Ledum groenlandicum, Carex, Juncus, Vaccinium oxycoccus. Leaves (traps) closing when touched, light green with red inner surface; flowers white, not yet opened; four small clusters of plants local in open area of bog mat. Phenology: Flowers.

Boggy shores. Cespitose, white flowers; see an estimated 20 established plants, spread slightly from an old introduction, a few seedlings; on peat and Sphagnum, with Kalmia, Ledum, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Rhynchospora alba, Carex cusickii, Juncus effusus subsp. effisus, full sun. Phenology: Flowers & Fruits.
