Growing on talus of Belt Series rocks. Leaves clustered and strictly erect, resembling Woodsia scopoulina in general appearance. Leaves glandular. Cysopteris in the NW may merit closer study; it seems there are more species present than only C. fragilis and C. montana. Phenology: Fertile.
