Seasonally wet meadow, serpentine soil, gentle south-southwest aspect, with Deschampsia cespitosa, Festuca rubra, Horkelia sericata, ridgeline trail to Stone Chair. Inflorescences male, female, or androgynous, cespitose. Phenology: Flowers & Fruits.
