British Columbia: Rocky Mountain Trench, Valemount, Cranberry Marsh, 75 m south of the end of Ash Street, trail opposite sewage lagoon. Elev. 786 m

Floating marsh mat, in among Typha latifolia, with Carex bebbii. Large plants; 102 cm from culm base to first spikelet, mature inflorescence to 8.5 cm long; perigynia to 2.8 x 1.5 mm; a few patches noted in one site in the marsh.
